This week, together with bioMérieux / BioFire Diagnostics, LLC , we updated our FlowPOC middleware solution for UMCG. UMCG was one of the first to use a HL7 connection to transfer the results of the Biofire FilmArray Torch System into the LIS. To ensure fast and accurate development, bioMérieux kindly provided a Torch system for testing. The perfect method - before the end of the week the update was finished!

After successful testing during a demo period, and being convinced of the quality and value of the system, we recently installed a second iCatcher at the OncoRNALab, Cancer Research Institute Ghent; Department of Biomolecular Medicine at Ghent University.
